Being a horse lover myself and having shared my life with them as well as with pets of all kinds, I appreciate how important it is not only to capture the outer physical characteristics of your horse or other pet, but also the spirit within. My joy is in bringing out the unique personality and expressive characteristics of each animal I paint. Whether it is a lopsided grin, a distinctive marking, or their trademark look, these are all the tiny touches which make my paintings truly personalized. Working from a selection of your favorite photos and through my fine attention to detail, my specialty is to create a true-to-life pastel painting of your horse or other pet, resulting in a painting that reflects the love and bond that you have developed with your horse, dog, or other companion animal and that will keep these cherished memories alive for a lifetime.
