Hilltop Stables, a legacy in Washington County, Maryland, has been in continuous operation since the 1950s. From an active multi-purpose barn under John Needy to a notable Tennessee Walker training barn under Roy Wagner, Hilltop Stables is known for a sustained tradition of superior horsemanship.

We offer a full spectrum of equestrian activities and services, including boarding, training, riding lessons, petting zoos, pony rides, and horse drawn wagon rides to meet the needs and interests of virtually every equine enthusiast. For riding, we offer a 150'x200' outdoor riding arena and a 46'x80' indoor riding arena so that you can enjoy your horse regardless of the weather.

We welcome all riding disciplines in a no pressure, no expectation environment. On any given day, you can find someone working a cow horse in the indoor ring while someone jumps in the outdoor facility. A farrier is available on site to conveniently address any issues that arise.
