The Shire is a new full service show facility in Oxford, PA. We are a family run facility for professional and amateur riders to enjoy. We compete, train, and work with a positive attitude towards other riders and horses. We believe in finding the best method for you and your horse to achieve your own personal goals. We welcome the pleasure rider and the high level competitor. At The Shire, we are family oriented and always try to mix fun with training.

We treat each and every horse like a show horse, and we want you to expect nothing but the highest level of care. Full care boarding includes large heavily bedded stalls, daily grooming, feeding 2-3x daily, supplements fed, and turnout. Board also includes blanketing, salt licks, and fly spray in the summer months. Every horses is maintained at a show quality with daily grooming and bathing as needed. Show grooming, braiding, mane pulling, and clipping available.

We also offer training and private & semi-private riding lessons.
