Open Gate Ranch is run by Stemmler Equine. This quality facility offers full care board that will make even the most high-maintenance horse feel right at home! We offer large indoor and outdoor riding arenas, a heated wash rack, 25 stalls, and acres of trails. Horses are fed three times a day, stalls are done daily, and turnout in our large fields is in small groups or individually, according to each horse's need. Lessons and training are offered on-site in addition to a full list of clinics, shows, and other special events.

Quality instruction and training for riders of all ages. Lesson horses available for for various levels of experience, from first time riders to competitors. A broad selection of lesson horses enables us to pick a horse you can independently succeed with. Jessica has taught, trained, and shown horses for English, western, dressage, and sidesaddle.

Young horses and older horses in need of a tune-up welcome for training! Breed doesn't matter, as ponies, Percherons, Quarter Horses, Warmbloods, Thoroughbreds, and Tennessee Walkers have been through the program... to name a few. Each horse and rider will be treated as an individual as you work towards your goals. Un-broke horses also accepted.

Currently based out of the beautiful, family oriented Pleasant Valley Ranch. Willing and able to teach on your property as well! Certificate of insurance available on request.

Training level to GP, Stephanie has FEI level school horses able to teach you the feel of the levels to which you aspire. All breeds are welcome for training. Novices with the desire to investigate their interest in dressage are also welcome for lessons. Friendly, low key environment. Stephanie is the only upper level rider on the premises. She has been teaching riders the enjoyment of learning riding skills since the seventies. She is currently training her third horse to Grand Prix, a homebred Dutch Warmblood mare. Whether you have never ridden a horse in your life, it has just been years, you are realizing that the basic foundation you were given is lacking, or as a confirmed dressage rider, you are new to the area - you will enjoy learning from and riding with Stephanie. Her teaching will give you new skills, feeling, and finesse. All training horses get exceptional, correct, and attentive care. All horses are treated as the unique individuals they are in feeding and handling.
