South Horse Stables LLC is a full service equestrian facility located in Purchase, NY, within 30 minutes of New York City.

With over 24 years of training experience, we are dedicated to teaching horseback riding and developing successful riders. We specialize in building and maintaining a confident and safe ride that is fun for both horse and rider.

Beginners through advanced riders are welcome. We realize that people learn to ride for many different reasons. Whether your goal is competition, recreation, or gaining a thorough knowledge of the art of riding, we will design a riding lesson program to suit your individual needs. Private and semi-private lessons are available on our specially selected and well trained school horses.
