At Maverick Horseback Riding, we do lessons on the trail instead of in an arena. It is better for horse and rider, and you can learn just as much if not more while on the trail. We work with riders of all ages and can accommodate riders of all experience levels. We do work with Special Needs individuals as well; we have multiple horses that are trained to work with Special Needs kids and adults. We also provide horse training and breaking. On your way to a show, let your horse spend the night with us in a 10x12 double matted stall, or if your horse prefers the outdoors, 5 green pastures with run in sheds. Plenty of room to park your trailer and many hotels and restaurants within 5 miles of the barn. Take a late night or early morning ride or just hang out with us in our heated lounge. Your horse will receive fresh bedding, grain, and hay and all the water he can drink during his stay. We also offer long term full board and pasture board. Give us a call and let us know when you would like to stay with us. 2 stalls always available, and up to 4 stalls are available with advance notice. Give your horse a relaxing night during his trip. This beautiful boarding stable is located on McKinney Farm which is 120 plus acres. An outdoor arena and scenic riding trails are just many of the amenities that are offered. We offer a large tack area. Plenty of pasture area for your precious horse as well as you to call home. There is also a big run in for horses to come in from weather.

Meadow Creek Farm's Summer Horsemanship Academy will have equestrians of any level excited to learn at their farm in Pleasant Valley, NY. Owner and instructor Helaina Ricciardi along with Rachel Penny ensure a positive experience for each equestrian camper. Meadow Creek provides a variety of trained horses and ponies to suit any level. Horse owners may also choose to bring their own mount. Academy is in session rain or shine. Indoor and outdoor activities will be planned. Academy begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM. Early drop off and late pick up options are also available. Early enrollment specials by April 30th: Buy 3 weeks, get 4th week 1/2 off. Refer a friend and both receive one free riding lesson.
