Lone Ridge Farm is located between Ellsworth and LeRoy, IL, about 1/2 mile from Moraine View State Park. LRF offers full care stall boarding including daily stall cleaning, hay, water, grain, heated buckets, fans, and daily turnout (weather permitting). Owner/operator lives on site and has many years of barn management experience. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Many stalls have rubber mats, and all stalls will have mats soon. Indoor wash rack, tack room, and farrier area. Indoor and outdoor arenas. 43.5 acres with trails. Riding rights on many adjoining properties. Within riding distance of Moraine View State Park. Many barn events and socials. Relaxed atmosphere. Use our vets and farriers or your own. Pasture board also offered. Pasture board includes turnout in a group suited to your horse, shelter, and quality hay. Grain is available at an additional cost.

We are located in Spring Grove, IL, next to Chain O'Lakes State Park with easement access to the equine trails. We are on the eastern border of McHenry County, IL and western border of Lake County, IL. The horses are our main concern, and their long term health and well being are our TOP priority. Each horse receives individual attention. Connected Riding allows us to offer a program that creates a magical bond between student and their horse. We offer a lesson program for any horse lover from 4 years of age on up. From the most timid to most confident rider, our program has something to offer those that want to take their horsemanship to the next level. Lessons can be taken on your own horse or a school mount. There is no trailering in fee for those that want a lesson on their own back yard horse. Instructor is a Connected Riding Practitioner. We also offer summer programs. Pony camps for 4-6 yr olds; day camps for 7-12 yr olds; and teen camps for 13-17 yr olds. For those that have lives that do not allow for weekly lessons, but still want to connect with horses, we also offer "Night Out at the Ranch" for those of you that are not able to spent time with horses on a regular basis.
