Founded in 2008, Blue Ribbon Farm & Academy has lesson programs at every level - children starting at age 3, recreational riders, and seasoned competitors in dressage, jumping & equitation – plus camps, clinics, and shows. Our 14 academy horses come in all sizes and shapes, for every ability and riding discipline. We offer boarding, leasing, training, and horses for sale.

Located on 30 scenic acres in northern Dutchess County, our facilities include a 2-aisle barn with a wash stall and tack room, an attached mold- and dust-free indoor ring, a 100' x 200' outdoor arena, grass fields, and access to trails. Stalls have heated water buckets, soft mats, and ample bedding.

Owner/trainer Amy von Scholz has a BA in Equine Studies & Business from Centenary College. Her extensive experience includes working as a groom, instructor, rider, barn manager, and riding school director; studying under top trainers and apprenticing to Olympic and Grand Prix riders. She has earned Horse of the Year titles, regional championships, and performance awards. An active dressage judge, Amy is a USDF "L" with distinction and is enrolled in the USDF Trainer Certification program.

Serene 145 acre horse farm located in the Town of Pawling on the southern-most portion of Dutchess County and near the line of Patterson in Putnam County.

Amenities include a brand new barn with huge dutch windows in every matted stall, a hot/cold wash stall, a private, marked trail system throughout 145 acres, and a casual but upscale environment exclusively for our boarders use and enjoyment. We are not open to the public, and our boarders are confident knowing their horses are not intermingled with outsiders.

We are centrally located just minutes to the Village of Pawling or the Hamlet of Patterson with easy access to train stations, grocery stores, Tractor Supply, New England Equine Vet Hospital, and our local tack store, Saddle Manor. Everything is less than 5 minutes from our farm. Easy access to stores, highways... everything is close!

Allison Kavey and Andrea Woodner started Rivendell Dressage, Inc. in 2007. RDI purchases, trains, and sells young dressage horses of exceptional quality. The first crop of RDI horses achieved a national championship and multiple top 20 placings in the USDF 2008 national championships. Andrea and Allison work together to produce well-mannered, amateur-friendly horses who are capable of competing at the highest levels of dressage.
