Fire Fly Stables is a riding academy dedicated to the well being of the horse and rider. We work with each as an individual and as a team. Specializing in lessons for children and adults, both beginner and advanced. Our coach, Jennifer Bruner, coaches both on site and off site.

Fire Fly Stables also offers indoor and outdoor boarding and horse training. We are located just a few minutes from Kitchener, Ontario.

What is Equine Assisted Psychotherapy?

Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) provides the following definition:

"Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) incorporates horses as experiential for emotional growth and learning. It is a collaborative effort between a licensed therapist and a horse professional working with the clients and horses to address treatment goals.

EAP is an experiential modality. This means that participants learn about themselves and others by participating in activities with the horses and then processing (or discussing) thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, and patterns."
