Pure Lusitanos. Shangrila Farm is conveniently located near Ocala, Florida. We have 28 acres of mineral rich soil, moderate climate, ancient oak trees, and lush pastureland creating the ideal environment for our Lusitano horses. We breed, train and sell purebred Lusitanos with quality bloodlines from Portugal, Mexico, and Brazil. We offer a limited number of Lusitano horses for sale from young stock to horses that are trained in the discipline best suited for the individual horse: dressage and hunter/jumper as well as combined training. We stand two Lusitano stallions: "Exaustivo" 100% Alter Real breed stallion imported from Portugal and "Veneno Imperial" a Veiga buckskin imported from Brazil.

Full boarding facility with detail oriented care. 12x12 matted stalls, large air conditioned tack room, two indoor washracks, and 100 x 200 sand arena with jumps. Grassy turnout all day or all night. Care includes quality hay and grain, grooming, turn out and horse rinsed when brought in, shavings, stall, and pasture cleaned. Call for more details and to view our facility. A PATH certified therapeutic riding center for special needs children and adults. Since 1992, Special Equestrians of the Treasure Coast has provided therapeutic exercise by which student riders gain increased self-awareness and enhanced verbal and motor skills. Students achieve physical, cognitive, behavioral, and psychological goals through techniques used in conjunction with the horse's movement.
