Lone Oak Rescue is a charitable 501c3 non-profit organization. Our focus is horse rescue and rehabilitation.

We take in horses who are unable to be kept in their current situation and are often at high risk of going to slaughter.

Some have come from a situation of neglect, abuse, or have just been abandoned. With the current economy, many owners are simply no longer able to care for their horses. We provide a safe haven for these horses, allow them to recover, and re-train them when necessary.

When ready, these horses are adopted out to safe and loving homes. Those not able to be adopted find a permanent home here at Lone Oak.

Lone Star Farm provides a fun and relaxed atmosphere for both children and adults to learn how to correctly ride as well as enjoy a variety of different horses. We teach everything from anatomy and tack basics to beginner showmanship and more. English, western, and gymkanna instruction all available by Dani Tornetta. Offers a lounge and a wide variety of family oriented events, such as fun shows, yard/bake sales, and auctions. We also offer boarding, pony parties on location or at your home, sales and leasing. We are a natural horsemanship facility. We have a state of the art 20 stall barn, a 200'x75' covered arena, a viewing lounge, and a secure tack room. We have hundreds of miles of beautiful, wooded trails with lots of room to canter. Daily turnouts for at least 8 hours. Quality feed and hay included in boarding, full or partial. We have 35 acres of grass, which we rotate weekly. Lessons in groups or private. We teach you how to understand the language of the horse so you can understand what the horse is saying to you. We will teach you everything you need to know from the ground up, so if your dream is to own your own horse, you will be equipped to do so. We teach balanced riding for all disciplines. We also give trail rides on our beautiful, scenic trails.
