JM Horse Rescue
Deland, FL 32720
Our goal is to provide care, rehabilitation and relocation through adoption of unwanted, neglected, abandoned, or abused horses.
It all started with the rescue of one horse. To see one of these great animals starving is unspeakable. So we are trying to be their voice and their helper, and through our horse rescue and others like us, we will continue to save one horse at a time by bringing them in, getting them healthy and trained again, and then finding them responsible loving homes. We try to save as many equines as we can from a slow and many times a painful death.
Our future goals are to offer clinics or classes for the care and training of these majestic animals. Our hope is to educate enough people that in time fewer horses will need to be rescued. We also try to educate owners on proper equine care, and we will be offering classes on basic horse care and handling. We are also going to start a Veterans Day once a month at our farm where our HEROS can come and spend the day and enjoy the animals.
Because we are a small rescue, we are only able to take in a small amount of horses at one time. If you are in need of our help, give us a call. If we cannot help you, we will try to help send you in the right direction. We promise to rescue neglected, abused, and homeless horses and provide them a loving home and also rehabilitation, retraining and then adoption for some to approved homes.
JM Horse Rescue does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other basis of discrimination prohibited by law.
