The inspiration behind the name - as everyone already knows, we are Equine Kingdom Riding Academy - Where Christ "Reins" Supreme. Matthew 19:14 says: Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." We must have the right heart to enter the kingdom of God! Therefore, we must have "Kingdom Hearts" and be kingdom-minded. Our aim is to use horses to bring healing and growth and give people the opportunity to experience God's amazing creatures.

Sally Cochran, owner/instructor, is currently Level 2 ARIA (American Riding Instructor's Association) certified, a member of AQHA, NCHJA, and PATH Int'l, and became a PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) certified instructor in November 2012.

Our goal is to serve many riders with learning disabilities, autism, developmental delay, and much more. We have wonderful, safe, well-trained horses that have been with us for many years. Several of them have even been therapy horses at previous farms, and it shows in their wonderful, laid-back personalities.

All of our horses here have been used in a therapeutic riding setting here at Equine Kingdom for over 5 years, and we have a variety of size, breed, and temperaments to suit a wide range of riders.

Kings Meadow Farm is an equine boarding and training facility located on 40 beautiful acres in Cordova, MD. Kings Meadow has a 14 stall barn with 2 wash stalls with hot and cold water and full size tack rooms. There is an indoor riding arena to provide year round riding as well as a 100 x 200 outdoor sand arena and plenty of trails for your riding pleasure. Kings Meadow has eight pastures with run in sheds for shelter and automatic water feeders, so our boarders always have access to fresh water. The horses boarded at Kings Meadow are given exceptional care. We provide a relaxed environment where people who love horses can ride, learn, and have fun. Kingsland Bay Stables, LLC is a family run horse farm in central Vermont. We have many years of experience handling and caring for retiring horses. We also specialize in rehabilitation for injured horses, requiring long term care. Our boarders are treated as our own horses. We are very experienced in the special dietary needs of the senior horse and customize our feeding, exercise, and turnout program to fit each horse's needs. If possible, we match up each retiree with a suitable herd buddy for turnout, and we keep them on pasture as much as they can be. We offer 12 x 12 and 12 x 10 matted box stalls, many with turnout paddocks, and an indoor as well as outdoor sand arena for inclement weather turnout.

Full board includes custom feeding program, blanketing, applying fly protection, grooming, administering medication, and arranging regular vet and farrier care and worming. We email or text pictures often and keep you updated on how your horse is doing. We also offer full service boarding, training, and lessons for the equine enthusiast. Trail riding lessons and Western and English pleasure are our specialties, and we focus on balance seat and Natural Horsemanship methods.
