Desert Acres Stables is a full service horse training and boarding facility located in Cocoa, FL. We offer horse lessons in dressage, jumping, and western training. Horseback riding on our property or on trail rides. Summer camps for ages 3 and up are offered in June, July, and August. Mini riding camps are offered various times throughout the year.

Our ranch offers horseback trail rides on miles of riding trails in over 2000 acres of magnificent Florida forest setting. We provide one and a half hour guided trail rides every day, all year round. You do have the opportunity to jog and lope your horse if you want to. The trail guides are all experienced horsemen. They are friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the history and ecology of the area.

Our philosophy at Happy Hooves is: "learning is fun". Our educational and exciting animal program suits all ages. Our programs are designed to entertain and educate our customers about the amazing animals that share our planet with us. We use calm, tame, and well socialized animals that have been raised by us or came to our zoo tame and friendly. Our goal is to delight our customers with our wide variety of farm animals.

The Riding Academy is open to riders of all ages, disciplines, and levels of experience. Our goal is to develop well-rounded and well educated horse persons.
