The Horsemanship School is a lesson barn located between Redmond and Woodinville, WA, offering beginner - intermediate lessons to adults and children ages 4+. We have well-trained school horses of various sizes to accommodate our riders. We offer weekly group and private lessons, homeschool programs, and summer camps.

Horseshu Ranch is a huge tourist hit on San Juan Island, WA. You can schedule trail rides for up to six people, take lessons, or even take your young cowpoke for a leadline pony ride! We also hold camps for families that are around for longer periods of time or locals! Locals are encouraged to come out and take lessons, lease your own horse, and take part in our Sunday gymkhana and barn shows.

Kathryn has experience teaching both children and adults, beginner through intermediate riders. Though she is currently focusing on dressage, she has trained and competed in hunt seat, showmanship, and trail in the past as well. She participated and competed in 4-H for 9 years and competed nationally in Intercollegiate Dressage while attending Washington State University. Lessons are tailored to match students' goals while emphasizing safety and partnership with the horse. Lesson horses available! Also able to travel to you and your horse! Full time training with winners at the national level with American Saddlebreds, Hackney Ponies, and Morgans, and regionally with Quarter Horses and Paints, including many ASHA Regional Championship winners, year after year.

Year round program indoors and out; we train to your needs and horse's abilities, be it for a few weeks or several years for show horses. Basic training for trail and field horses, basic seat dressage and hunter, pleasure and show driving, and gaited horses of nearly any breed, though we specialize in American Saddlebred Horses.
