Our reasonably priced boarding facility now has a limited number of stalls available (as of Jan 2011). Well-maintained, our farm includes a 72X120 indoor with a heated viewing area, outside dressage and jump rings, and a round pen. We offer full or pasture board, with private or small group turnout. We're dedicated to providing the best care for your horse. Haven't ridden in a while? No problem. Our relaxed atmosphere and knowledgeable staff may be just the right incentive to get you back in the saddle. All disciplines welcome. Lesson programs from beginner through advanced. Train with our instructors, or arrangements can be made for your personal instructor/trainer. We also offer summer camps and pony parties. The camp gives kids great exposure to rural living, including picking fruit, fishing, feeding chicks, and riding horses. The technical aspects of horseback riding, such as holding correct posture, proper queuing, learning tack, and horse body language, are introduced. During the heat of the day, all the kids go inside the large art studio and gather around 3 tables to be creative. They work with pastels, watercolors, sculpty clay, beading, mask making, and much more. Each week offers variations on the main art media topics along with down to earth outdoor fun with horses and farm animals. New this year, Tepee Island. Camps in June and July. Bachman Academy's summer horse camp is for kids ages 9-15 who are beginning riders wanting to learn basic horsemanship, horse safety (helmets provided), mechanics, control, and horse care. Camp instructor Kody Russell is a CHA Level 4 instructor, an American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) professional horseman, and a National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) judge. Camp is five days, Monday-Friday. There is limited space available, so call today!
