Destiny's Ride is a non-profit therapeutic horseback riding program that provides equine related assisted activities to children and adults with physical, cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and/or social challenges, with a specialty in amputees.

Company Overview
Therapeutic horseback riding program for children and adults with physical, cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and/or social challenges. Utilizing the facilities located at Aspinwall Equestrian Center, Lenox, MA, we provide therapeutic riding to individuals with a variety of disabilities. The founder and Executive Director is an amputee (since the age of 16) & a avid horseback rider and knows firsthand the physical & emotional benefits that horses can provide for us in our everyday life.

Lessons are by appointment only ~ Please call to schedule a lesson, or visit our website for more information.

We offer private & semi-private lessons (3 student maximum). Lessons are available by scheduled appointments, as well as 8 week programs that run 4 times a year.

Flying Manes Therapeutic Riding is a North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NAHRA) member center that offers therapeutic horseback riding lessons and activities aimed at teaching the foundations of equine behavior and equine care.

Flying Manes Therapeutic Riding is committed to providing the therapeutic benefits of horseback riding and other equine-assisted activities to individuals faced with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges.

Equine assisted activities and therapies are centered on the interaction between horse and human and use the tolerance and power of the horse to motivate participants to develop their full potential.

Led by a NARHA-certified instructor and supported by dedicated volunteers, our program activities are aimed at teaching participants horsemanship skills and encouraging them to accomplish their physical, emotional, and social goals.

TFC is a non-profit, year-round camp for adults and children with special needs located in Mayville, Michigan. We now offer winter public riding.

In our state-of-the-art indoor equestrian center, for just $10.00 a day (as of Dec 2010), participants can bring their own horses and ride in the arena for any desired length of time. All we require is that a copy of the coggins for the horse is on file. Just call ahead to check availability and come visit us!

In addition, our equestrian center is available to rent for meetings for 4H, FFA, and other groups. Agricultural and equestrian groups qualify for a 10% discount on the rental cost.

We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity available only in the winter months! For more information, please feel free to call or e-mail!
