What sets us apart from other therapeutic and traditional riding programs?
* Superior Horses
Quality horses - we do not rely on donations but carefully handpick our horses based on temperament and talent.
* European Philosophy/Riding Model
While safety is always our first priority, our second focus is on helping students reach their FULL potential with regard to social skills, IEP goals, academics, and athletics. We do this by first teaching the skills set that is necessary for riding and then working to generalize those concepts in everyday activities.
* Therapeutic Instruction
Advantage does not merely instruct students in the basics of riding. We require that all instructors be MA licensed educators with significant experience working with special needs populations. This allows us to work with all the client's service providers to incorporate, support, and apply learning objectives and strategies used by teacher and parents.
