The Barking Dog Ranch legend started in the 1930's, and today consists of 33 beautiful rolling acres just 15 miles south of Pine Bluff in the community of Woodlawn. We have extensive riding trails through varied terrain, a 60 foot training circle, and a barrel practice area, and we offer both pasture board and stall board with pricing based on the size of your horse and any special needs. We have several instructors with experience ranging from barrel racing to show, and we can arrange weekly lessons and a student program year round for children to adults. Horse training is also available. Negative coggins required.

Because each horse is an individual, we do not adhere to a strict schedule. We have found that the best training progress is made when a horse is permitted to learn at its own pace. A strict training schedule would hold back those horses that learn quickly and rush horses that learn more slowly, causing stress and distraction.
